1 in 3 women are impacted by gender-based violence and on average, a woman is killed by an intimate partner every 10 days. Gender-based violence takes a profound toll on women, children and communities. It impacts all of us. This is why we’re Walking for WAGEC so that women and children can walk away from violence. Walk for WAGEC is a 5km walk on the 7th May, 2023, to raise money so that women and children can walk away from violence, and this year we are thrilled to be a registered fundraiser!

Our environmental values.
If you follow us on social media, you probably already know that I minimise my environmental impact at every turn, and that goes for the studio too.
• We power our studio with electricity sourced from 100% Renewable Energy Sources with Amber
• We purchase Terracycle Bins, this means that we divert the following waste away from landfill: cosmetic containers, non-council-recyclable plastic, art waste, polystyrene waste, soft plastics, toothpaste tubes, mascara tips, glue tubes, silicone products, RAT tests, disposable masks, printer cartridges, e-waste, pens, craft waste. Basically everything that isn’t accepted by council recycling schemes.
• We send our fabric off-cuts, old wardrobe/clothing and shoes to Upparel, Australasia’s leaders in textile recovery and recycling. This means that we divert all clothing waste away from landfill.
• We compost our food waste via our onsite worm-farm, again avoiding contributing organics to landfill thus minimising our greenhouse-gas contribution to the atmosphere.
• We use Sendle, the courier provider that provides 100% carbon neutral delivery service.
• We use Hero Pack, compostable packaging when sending parcels.
• Cosmetic wipes and cleaning products are all biodegradable and environmentally friendly.
